Hayley hosts and produces the hit parenting podcast “Mom Life in Luxembourg” on RTL Today. When she interviewed Dr Susanne Folschette, founder of the Luxembourg Menopause Society, the episode made a huge splash with women in the community — and opened Hayley’s eyes to how underfunded and under-researched women’s health has always been.
Add her own experience of being dismissed and experimenting with vitamins, and she knew there had to be a better way. That’s how BellaPause was born.
In October 2026, BellaPause was selected from 556 applicants for Fit4Start #17, Luxembourg’s national startup accelerator, as one of only five healthtech startups. It’s a vote of confidence in what we’re building, and the programme starts in early 2027.
BellaPause addresses a genuine, unmet need — empowering women to make decisions based on facts.

For every woman that’s awake between 2–4 AM trying to figure out how to feel like herself again.”

No — BellaPause is educational, not medical. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything; it helps you understand what you're taking and track your own patterns, so you're better informed for conversations with your own doctor.
Nothing yet — the app isn't live. Once it is, all you'll need is a supplement to scan.
Your health data is used to give you personalised insights into your own symptoms. With your permission, it can also be combined anonymously with other women's data to help reveal patterns for the wider medical understanding of this life stage — but that's entirely optional, and you can change your mind any time. There's nothing to sell to anyone.
